[Off Topic] – Blue Angels in town
A bit off-topic, but the Blue Angels were in town this weekend, for Seafair. So I took half a day off work and took my Dad (aka Mr. OpenBeam, Senior) out to see the airshow. (Feel free to click on the image and download the full resolution version):

Apparently, having a digital camera and chimping shots in the field makes you quite popular. Here’s a little boy that I let look through my camera after the airshow:

Wow, nice shots! That is a real long lens, is it a zoom? Did you use a tripod, or hand hold, they look very sharp.

Thanks for sharing-I’m an aviation and photo/video nut, and my openbeam supplies are going towards making photo mounts/platforms for aerial usage. Love your stuff!
